At the outset, we would like to point out that this is a cultural exchange program for those who want to get to know American culture, American camp life, travel, gain new experience, discover something new, have interesting adventures, have an unforgettable summer, make friends, create opportunities, improve the level of the English language. The program gives the participant the opportunity to travel to the USA for up to 8 weeks and work as a team leader at the camp and receive pocket money of $1,700-$2,000 for the entire course (the amount of the scholarship is determined when the inviting camp is already held, the participant knows exactly how much he is going to pay camp, agrees, then signs a new contract with that camp). In other words, the program does not imply that the participant should go to earn a lot of money or go to work in his profession. In the case of the program, the participant receives a J-1 exchange visitor visa, which corresponds to cultural exchange programs, and the participant does not have the opportunity to extend or replace it with another visa type.

Program Content Briefly, as part of the program, the participant travels to the US and works as a squad leader at the camp. The camps are located in different states of the USA, the information about the camp, as well as the responsibilities, pocket money and all other conditions, the participant learns in advance, has the opportunity to choose the camp.

After receiving the complete information, if the conditions of the camp are satisfactory, the participant also signs contract with the camp. All this is carried out on a special platform activated in advance for the participant, where the camps are also registered in Lyon, and have the opportunity to contact the participant.

Program security. The CAMP USA program is one of the state exchange visitor programs sponsored by the US State Department, it is completely under the jurisdiction of the US State Department, implementing organisations, including our partner, receive special permission to implement the program. Program fees:

Participation fee to the intermediary organisation: AMD 125,000, the amount is paid through transfer. Participation fee to the US organisation, payments are made by wire transfer.

$325 program fee,
$40 pre-program registration fee (non-refundable).

A $35 SEVIS fee is charged to grant status to all participants travelling to the US.

Upon departure, it is mandatory for the participant to have $300-500 for unforeseen expenses.

The participant himself makes the selection of the family before departure, and has opportunity to choose a family where employment is as close as possible to his own ideas and in terms of time and content. Before leaving the participant communicates with host families via video call, discusses all of it the obligations that he will have in the family and with the child and housework connected, then all that is fixed in the contract concluded between them, on which his seal and our partner also signs. Free outside of project employment hours, the participant manages his own time and the family does not interfere. Participant can visit various cultural places, cinema, museum, and park and pass the time as he wishes. Within the program, the participant has one or two full days off day, or one and a half, it depends on the participant and the host family agreement on how the hours of employment will be distributed during the week.

7:00 AM - Wake up! Make sure your campers are ready for the day. 7:30 AM - Breakfast (Traditional American breakfast: pancakes, eggs, toast, fruit, bacon, sausage..yum!) 8:00 AM - First activity of the day. 9:00 AM - Second activity 10:00 AM - Third activity 11:00 AM - Break/Free time 12:00 PM - Lunch (Sandwiches, pastas, salad etc) 1:00 PM - Mail/packages/rest time 2:00 PM - Fourth activity 3:00 PM - Fifth activity 4:00 PM - Sixth activity 5:00 PM - Break/Free time 6:00 PM - Dinner (BBQ, pizza, salad, hamburgers etc) 7:00 PM - Evening activity 8:00 PM - Group evening activity 9:00 PM - Return to cabins, get ready for bed 10:00 PM - Lights out!

Camps can be of different types, such as classical camps, as well as thematically oriented camps, sports camps, the choice is made in advance, before the departure of the participant on the online platform provided for him. As the camps are full full-day and half-day, this is also known to the participant in advance.

How is camp selection made?A profile is activated for the participant on the online platform and the participant's profile becomes visible to camps registered on the same platform. The camp likes the participant and sends him an application for an interview, the participant receives complete information about the camp he likes, all the conditions and decides whether to participate in the interview or reject the application, if he likes, an interview already takes place, after which the camp confirms the applicant's participation, in case of rejection, the participant waits until another camp sends an application again.

Application procedure: It is necessary to approach the office with a passport and money, sign a contract, pay the commission by transferring 125,000 AMD to the organisation's account, after which we will activate the online platform for you, where you will need to download your documents, and our colleagues will arrange an interview with you in English. then, you will make an advance payment of $40 already to the account of the US organisation on the basis of the pre-written invoice, after which, when your complete account is complete, we will confirm it and it will be visible to the camps registered on the same platform, who will already contact you. When you find a camp suitable for you, which will present all the conditions, including the amount of the scholarship, the location of the camp, all the details you are interested in and all of which will be convenient for you, you sign a contract with the given camp and pay the basic fee of $325, after which already the $35 SEVIS fee to have the invitation, Form DS-2019, prepared for you. All payments at the dollar exchange rate are made to the American organisation, based on the contract signed with the American organisation, to the account of the American organisation.
