FSJ/BFD in Germany

Make FSJ/BFD in Germany with Max Work

What makes the community of Bingenheim special?
Lebensgemeinschaft Bingenheim e.V. is a center of medical education and social therapy. It is located on the outskirts of Echsel, in the center of Germany. It includes homes for adults, children and young people, a centre for the disabled (WfbM) and a special Waldorf school. In the Lebensgemeinschaft Bingenheim, around 160 people with mental retardation receive help from the first school year. In total, there are 15 groups and several boarding houses. Lebensgemeinschaft Bingenheim e.V. has a long tradition of supporting volunteers.
We offer up to 25 FSJ and BFD jobs with accommodations each year. Our FSJ and BFD positions are filled by applicants from Germany, former au pairs and new volunteers. That is why people from all over the world meet in Bingenheim. Many cultures are now also represented in our workforce, resulting in an exciting cross-cultural exchange. After volunteering, it is possible to start our training as a medical education nurse.
What can volunteer service providers expect?
Volunteers work in groups, classrooms or our special school as they wish. In groups, they take care of patients and help with household chores, as well as accompany the patients on outings. Adaptation to working and learning processes is helped at school.
Volunteer service is carried out with a sponsoring organisation. During the 12 months of service, you have 25 days of workshops at the sponsoring organisation. During this time you will meet many other FSJ and BFD members and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge, exchange ideas and make friends.
Requirements for applicants:
